Titan unveil new third jersey

BATHURST, N.B. – After years in the making, we are excited to announce that the Acadie-Bathurst Titan have a new official third jersey, which players and fans will be able to proudly wear beginning today.

The unveiling of our new third jersey will mark the second official third jersey in our 24-year history in the City of Bathurst. Our players will be wearing their newest threads this weekend when the puck drops at the K.C. Irving Regional Centre as we host the Moncton Wildcats and Charlottetown Islanders. The jersey will also be worn again later in the season.

The jersey was designed by the team’s Content and Media Relations Coordinator Bryer MacPherson and Erin White, former marketing director. “We first started talking about a third jersey two or three years ago, so it’s super exciting to finally be able to reveal it for everyone to see,” said MacPherson.

“The vision from the start was to have a black jersey. If you look at our current uniforms it’s a lot of red, gold, and white. So, for the thirds we started with black as the main color and sprinkled in a little bit of the signature Titan red and gold.”

Absent on the new jerseys is the Titan wordmark under the logo. This redesign of our logo is aimed to make the jersey look more dynamic; however, we are not changing our official logo.  Refreshed logos show a team is evolving and changing to keep up with the modern world. Experts say removing the wordmark may help a brand achieve an iconic status where they can be identified by the visual symbols.

“The official third jersey is an amazing project that our past Marketing Director, Erin White and our Content & Media Relations Coordinator, Bryer MacPherson, worked on the past two seasons. The team and I are extremely satisfied with the final result and are sure that the fans will like it. We can’t wait to play with the jerseys for the first time on Friday,” said JD Boudreau, Marketing Director & Game Day Coordinator.
