Titan acquire Bellamy from Sherbrooke

BATHURST – The Acadie-Bathurst Titan have acquired defenceman Jaxon Bellamy from the Sherbrooke Phoenix for a second-round pick and fifth-round pick in 2021 as well as a 2023 second-round pick, General Manager Sylvain Couturier announced today.

Bellamy, 19, is in his fourth season in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League after being selected 16th overall in 2017 by the Moncton Wildcats. The Hampton, New Brunswick product played 24 games with Moncton before being dealt to Sherbrooke where he has spent the past two and a half seasons. The six-foot-four, 191-pound blueliner had 25 points in 63 games last season and was a +35.
