Shannon, Dr. Scott return for 2021-22 season

BATHURST – General Manager Sylvain Couturier announced today that the team has extended the contracts of Assistant General Manager Roger Shannon, and Sports Psychologist Dr. David Scott.

“We are very fortunate to have two quality individuals like Roger and Dr. Scott as part of our organization,” said Couturier. “They are important members of our staff and we are very happy to have them back for another season.”

Shannon joined the Titan in July of 2019 after spending six seasons with the Moncton Wildcats from 2012 to 2018. The Fredericton, New Brunswick product was also a member of the Titan’s hockey operations staff in the early 2000’s before moving on to the Lewiston Maineiacs as the Head Scout and General Manager, and then to the Shawinigan Cataractes as an Assistant to the GM in their 2012 Memorial Cup Championship run.

Dr. Scott, who joined the Titan in 2016 and was a key part of the 2018 Memorial Cup run, returns for a fifth season. He is also a Sports Psychology Consultant with the Montreal Canadiens.
