Rookie of the Year Award: Cole Huckins & Riley Kidney

The 2019-2020 Rookie of the Year Award goes to co-winners, Cole Huckins and Riley Kidney.

Both first round selections at the 2019 QMJHL Draft, Huckins and Kidney were neck-in-neck for the team’s rookie scoring lead all season. Huckins would finish the season on top with 13 goals and 25 assists for 38 points in 64 games while Kidney had 33 points in 58 games.

The two 16-year-old forwards also shared a memorable night together on September 21st both scoring their first career goals against the Cape Breton Eagles.
