Historical Moment: Titan finish first in 2001-02 QMJHL standings

We have countless memories on the highlight reel throughout our 25 years in the Chaleur region.
We can push pause on moments like when we won our first President Cup in 1998, or we can fast forward 20 years and watch as we lifted our second President Cup in 2018, and then went on to win the Memorial Cup as the smallest market team in the Canadian Hockey League. As we reminisce on those memories, we see glimpses of all the different moments which brought us to the more than two-plus decades defending the bay.
One of those clips is the 2001-2002 season, when we were in the midst of another cup run and featured players on our roster like Patrice Bergeron, Olivier Filion, Miroslav Durak, Bruno Gervais and Adam Russo.
The Titan were a powerhouse throughout the year. By the end of the 2001-02 regular season, the Titan were at the top of the standings after posting a 45-18-5-4 record for 99 points in just 72 games. They would go on to finish second overall in the league in the 2002 playoffs, losing in the championship final series to the Victoriaville Tigres.
