Historical Moment: Fred Best wins CHL’s Most Priceless Fan Award

If you’ve been to an Acadie-Bathurst Titan game then you know who Fred Best is, and that he is without a doubt one of – if not the—biggest Titan fan in the region.

You can spot him in his section (we’re serious, he is such a huge fan we named a section after him!) at the K.C. Irving Regional Centre. During games you can catch him sporting his iconic Titan Viking-like helmet, dancing and cheering on his beloved team. Fred’s devotion and pride for the Titan has never gone unnoticed by us or the Canadian Hockey League. Fred’s been a loyal supporter and fan of his Titan since the first day the Titan arrived on the shores of the Bay of Chaleur in 1998.

His love for Acadie-Bathurst won him the CHL’s Most Priceless Fan award in 1999, and two decades later we awarded him the Titan Volunteer of the Year in 2019.
