Hot start

Bennett MacArthur and Riley Kidney registered 10 points between the two of them in last weekends match-up against the Wildcats. MacArthur had two goals and an assist in Friday’s 4-2 win over Moncton and was named the first star of the game. He had three assists in Saturday’s 5-2 victory over the Wildcats. Kidney, who had an assist in the home opener, netted two goals and an assist in Saturday’s win, and was named the first star of the game. MacArthur was named the second star.


Goaltending duo

Titan goaltenders Jan Bednar and Chad Arsenault split the workload last weekend each starting one game. Bednar stopped 23 of 25 shots on Friday night while Arsenault turned aside 29 shots the following night in Moncton.


Sea Dogs

The Sea Dogs dropped both of their games last weekend against the Charlottetown Islanders. Charlottetown beat Saint John 4-2 at TD Station in the Sea Dogs home opener Friday night and then again 5-2 on Saturday at the Eastlink Centre.
