The Titan are currently ranked second overall in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League standings and first in the Maritimes Division with a 4-0-0-0 record. Cape Breton (1-2-0-1) is 16th overall in the league standings and fifth overall in the Maritimes Division.

 

Scholastic player of the month

Titan defenceman Lane Hinkley was recently named the team’s Scholastic Player of the Month for September. Hinkley, who’s in his second season with Acadie-Bathurst, is in Grade 12 at Bathurst High School. A player from each of the league’s respective 18 teams is selected for the Scholastic Players of the Month.

 

First career goal

17-year-old forward Dylan Andrews finally tallied his first career goal in the QMJHL Friday night in Saint John. Andrews opened the scoring at 4:55 of the first period on a pass from Riley Kidney.
