Dobson dealt to Rouyn-Noranda for draft picks

BATHURST – Acadie-Bathurst Titan General Manager Sylvain Couturier announced today that the team has traded captain Noah Dobson to the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies for four draft picks. The Titan have acquired Chicoutimi’s 2019 and 2020 first round picks as well as their own 2021 first round pick and Chicoutimi’s 2019 second round pick.

Dobson, 18, is fresh off competing at the 2018 World Junior Hockey Championships with Team Canada. The Summerside, PEI product has been with the Titan for two and a half seasons since being selected sixth overall by the team at the 2016 QMJHL Draft. In 28 games this season Dobson has totalled nine goals and seven assists for 16 points. He was also the 12th overall selection by the New York Islanders at the 2018 NHL Draft.

The Titan would like to wish Noah all the best in Rouyn-Noranda and thank him for his contributions to the organization and the community during his time in Bathurst.
