Chisholm scores lone Titan goal in loss to Charlottetown

CHARLOTTETOWN – The Acadie-Bathurst made their second trip across the confederation bridge of the season Sunday to take on the Charlottetown Islanders. It was Stars Wars Night at the Eastlink Centre and the force, was in fact, not with the Titan in this one.

Charlottetown got on the board first thanks to a pretty individual effort from Drew Elliot. His first career goal made it 1-0 at the 5:05 mark. It remained 1-0 after one. Logan Chisholm would tie the game nine minutes into the second period sniping his seventh of the season on Jacob Goobie. The lone assist went to Harijs Brants. It was 1-1 through 40 minutes.

It was all Islanders in the third period as they scored three times to grab the victory. Patrick Leblanc’s first career goal gave them a 2-1 lead at 3:00 before Elliot added his second od the game at 14:41. Cole Edwards sealed it with his sixth with just over three minutes remaining making it 4-1. Felix-Anthony Ethier made 37 for the Titan in the loss.
