Biggar reassigned to Summerside

BATHURST – The Acadie-Bathurst Titan have reassigned 2019 second round pick Zach Biggar to the Summerside Western Capitals of the Maritime Junior A Hockey League.

Biggar was the teams fourth selection of the 2019 QMJHL Draft, 27th overall, back in June and was one of three Titan prospects invited to Hockey Canada’s Under-17 Development camp at the end of July. The six-foot, 178-pound defenceman played in two pre-season game this week including yesterday’s 4-2 win over the Charlottetown Islanders in Cornwall, PEI.

The Portage, PEI product will now join the Capitals for training camp we’re he will continue his development at the Junior A level.
