BAT@CHA: Five things to know

CHARLOTTETOWN – Here are five things you need to know ahead of Sunday’s game against the Charlottetown Islanders at the Eastlink Centre.

1. For the second time in less than 24 hours the Titan and the Islanders do battle, this time at the Eastlink Centre in Charlottetown. The Islanders came from behind last night and would eventually win it in overtime 4-3.

2. Last night’s win snapped a four-game losing streak for Charlottetown and gave them a 5-2 lead in the season series against Acadie-Bathurst. The Titan meanwhile dropped to 2-7-1-0 in their past 10.

3. Titan forward Mathieu Desgagnes continued his hot streak with two goals in last night’s game. It was his third straight game multi-goal game. The 19-year-old has eight goals and five assists for 13 points in the month of February bringing his season total to 41 points.

4. With two assists, rookie forward Riley Kidney hit the 30-point plateau last night becoming the fifth rookie to do so in a Titan uniform. The Enfield, Nova Scotia product has five goals and 25 assists in 52 games this season.
