2020 Draft Revisited: Sixth Round Picks

The 2021 Quebec Major Junior Hockey League Entry Draft is just over one week away, so we’re back with another look back at the 2020 draft. Today’s focus is on three players selected in the sixth round by the Titan last June.

Jake Tracey • Round 6, 99th Overall

After trading a 2021 fifth round pick to the Quebec Remparts for pick #99, the Titan selected defenceman Jake Tracey from the Notre Dame Hounds U18 program. This season the Lincoln, New Brunswick native joined the Fredericton Caps of the NB/PEI U18 Major Hockey League where he registered seven points in eight games. Tracey also played two games for the MHL’s Fredericton Red Wings.

Joseph Henneberry • Round 6, 110th Overall

11 picks later, the Titan selected Joseph Henneberry from the Halifax McDonald’s. After posting 30 points in 35 games with the Macs during the 2019-20 season, Henneberry joined the Bishop’s College School prep U16 team this season. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic BCS did not play regular season games.

Camden Pellerine • Round 6, 111th Overall

With back-to-back picks, the Titan added forward Camden Pellerine to their prospect pool from the Steele Subaru U18 team. The six-foot-one, 190-pound power forward returned for a second season with Steele Subaru this season and put up 22 points in 20 games before adding one point in four playoff games.
