Titan trim training camp roster by four

BATHURST – With several league deadlines approaching, the Acadie-Bathurst Titan cut four more players from their training camp roster. Goaltender Felix-Anthony Ethier, defenceman Brandon Atkins as well as forwards Logan Timmons and Robbie Dowell were all released today.

Ethier was selected by the Titan in the sixth round of the 2018 QMJHL Draft. The 16-year-old posted a 4.83 goals-against-average and a .821 save percentage in two pre-season appearances. Atkins was attending camp on loan from the Gatineau Olympiques and was a -2 in three pre-season games with the Titan.

Also a 2018 draft choice, Dowell was selected in the 12th round this past June and picked up one point in four pre-season games. Timmons was acquired from the Val-d’Or Foreurs ahead of the start of training camp for a 2021 eighth round pick. He notched a point in three pre-season games.
