Titan fall to Mooseheads on the road

HALIFAX, N.S. – The Acadie-Bathurst Titan went head-to-head with the Halifax Mooseheads on Saturday night in a game that had big implications as the two teams are in a battle atop the Maritime division standings. Unfortunately, with the Titan playing in a back-to-back after a win Friday night in Cape Breton, this one did not go the way they wanted.

Filip Zadina opened the scoring at 1:13 of the first period and added another in the second period at the 4:54 mark. Jeffrey Viel got the Titan on the board at 19:02 with assists going to Mitchell Balmas and Noah Dobson on the powerplay. However, that was the only one they would get past Blade Mann-Dixon.

Maxime Fortier added an empty netter late in the third to seal a 3-1 victory for the Mooseheads.
