Five players released, Atkins loaned from Gatineau

BATHURST – The Acadie-Bathurst Titan have made their second wave of cuts following the teams first pre-season game last night in Saint John. Five players have been released from camp.

Defencemen Loic Jarry, Vincent Hotte, and Olivier Tremblay all see their camp come to an end today along with forwards Charles Locas and Declan MacEachern. As well, defenceman Brandon Atkins has joined the team on loan from the Gatineau Olympiques. Atkins, 18, had 21 points in 47 games with the Rayside-Balfour Canadians last season in the NOJHL.

With this round of cuts and the arrival of returning players today, the training camp roster now sits at 42. The Titan’s next pre-season contest is tomorrow night at 7pm as they host the Saint John Sea Dogs.
