Drakkar shutout Titan 3-0

BAIE-COMEAU, Que. – A three-game road trip continued on Friday night for the Acadie-Bathurst Titan as they visited the Centre Henry-Leonard to take on the Baie-Comeau Drakkar for the second time this season. The Drakkar owned this one for the most part while the Titan went 0/4 on the man advantage.

Six minutes into the game the Drakkar took advantage of a Titan miscue as D’Artagnan Joly and Jordan Martel came in on a two-on-one with Martel finishing off the play to open the scoring 1-0. Joly had the lone assist on the goal. It remained a 1-0 contest until late in the second period.

Simon Chevrier came streaking in on Joseph Murdaca just moments after the Titan started a powerplay and potted the shorthanded marker to double the home sides lead 2-0. The Titan would not be able to break Francis Leclerc as he stopped everything that came his way while Joly added an empty netter to give the Drakkar a 3-0 win.
