Crossman nets hat trick as Drakkar trounce Titan

BATHURST – After a tough 4-0 loss to the Chicoutimi Sagueneens on Friday, the Acadie-Bathurst Titan had another rough outing Saturday night against the Baie-Comeau Drakkar. Former Titan forward Ethan Crossman and Marc-Antoine Brouillette each notched a hat trick as the Drakkar trounced the Titan 8-0.

Brendan St-Louis and Jordan Martel found the back of the night in the first period to put the visitors up 2-0 after one period of play. In the second period Brouillette scored a pair while Crossman notched his first of the evening to extend their lead to 5-0 through 40 minutes of play. Brouillette was the first to complete his hat trick scoring his third of the game at 10:22 of the third followed by two goals from Crossman at 10:47 and 14:16 to round out the scoring. The Drakkar roster featured two other former Titan’s with Samuel L’Italien picking up two assists and Keenan MacIsaac getting a single helper on the night. Lucas Fitzpatrick picked up the shutout with 20 saves.
