Armada take game four to tie series 2-2

BATHURST – The 2018 Rogers President Cup final continued Wednesday night with game four between the Acadie-Bathurst Titan and the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada at the K.C. Irving Regional Centre. After a scoreless first period, the Armada jumped in front and never looked back as they evened up the series 2-2.

Anthony Poulin scored the games first goal 1:21 into the second period giving the Armada the lead. Later in the frame Alexander Katarinakis scored the eventual game-winner to extend it to 2-0. Luke Henman rounded out the second period scoring with his sixth of the playoffs at 17:53 making it 3-0 for the visitors through 40 minutes of play.

Drake Batherson made it 4-0 at 7:24 of the third before Adam Holwell got the Titan on the board. Holwell’s point shot found its way past Emile Samson on the powerplay, with assists going to Mitchell Balmas and Liam Murphy. Batherson sealed the deal with an empty net tally at 15:56 as the Armada took game four 5-1.
